Hello Kaya, im currently working on my moms van for a business and i do need thermo fleece liner from dodo. Apparently its not available in the US but only in UK. Do u know have any recommendations for me?

Love, love, love Vedauwoo. I don't climb because I'm, like 67 years old. I have come to enjoy geology, and Vedauwoo is the bomb. Those rocks are 1/3 the age of the planet! The huge crystals are because it's basement rock and cooled very, very slowly. You girls are amazing! Keep it up!

Hi Kaya, I loved your video.I was able to change all the turbo hoses. Two weeks ago the hose from the turbo resonator to the inter-cooler slipped off during a long steep climb-luckily I didn't lose the clamp. I was able to reattach it on the roadside. I decided to replace all the boost hoses on the 06 Sprinter. Thanks, Jerry from Colorado

I primarily urban camp in cities, so for me it feels way safer than being alone in nature. If anything happens, people are there plus I'm use to it and I'm good at it. I still agree with almost everything you said. The only things I would add is - * Google vanlife parking options. There are a lot of options. * Get to the city during the daytime if at all possible or know ahead of time where you're going to park. * Do a quick search for safe neighborhoods in the city you're going to be in. If you can't find anything, look for areas that have a Whole Foods. Generally Whole Foods are in safe areas. * It costs about $2-$3 to fill a 5 gallon jug with water at Walmart. If you don't have $3, understood but if you do, save the gas and just fill up there. * Keeping your family and friends updated on your location will keep them from worrying but it will not keep you safe. The best it's going to do is give them a starting point to look for you. You have to keep yourself safe.

UA-cam is life. I was in the hospital with some type of tube in me that went from my nose to my stomach. It was killing my throat and the nurses acted like they had all year to get with the doctor and get me some relief. I don't suffer well and the thing the tube emptied into was basically not filling up anymore so I went on UA-cam and researched how to remove the freaking tube. Then I removed it and told the nurses when they came back in the room. Apparently that's not something you're supposed to do but whatever. I also googled some other medical removals but I don't want to give anybody ideas. I'll just say Yay UA-cam for home repairs, car repairs, medical stuff, somatic coping skills, and van builds!.

I so get this. I'm a woman of color and it's so freaking normal to feel like this. 50% of society is ok, 25% is awesome, and 25% sucks and I never know when that 25% is going to pop up or how it's going to turn out when they do. Living with that constant anxiety gets really tiring and it's why there are so many communities where people of color reside and aren't trying to leave. While those communities are rarely economically prosperous, they're safe from racism, stable and predictable. They allow you to take full, deep breathes. Feeling like an outsider, always being on guard, always holding your breathe, always knowing one person could completely ruin your day for no reason other than you walked on the same aisle as them (which has happened) is a weight that will eventually break your spirit if you don't get some relief from it. I love to travel and I come from parents who loved to travel. Now I have a home, my home base, that I'm never in because I travel in my SUV. While I think the big vans are adorable, I'll never get one. Vans just attract too much attention and that's the opposite of what I need to do traveling alone. In my SUV, I can park almost anywhere and no one has a clue I'm inside. I also spend 50% of my time in the city and 50% in nature so I don't start feeling completely alienated from "normal" society. I craze adventure AND I love routine so my life is a perpetual balancing act. Having a house grounds me, and living out of my SUV allows me to fly. It's the perfect balance for me. Now I'm off to see what you did after this. ❤️

Thank you so much for this ...I know this Video is some time ago , but that last part hit "home " soto speak ..where you talked. About showering and dating a man with a regular home . I have been in that similar situation where I had to let him know " look I'm not trying to move in " or evade your space " but I also realized that I will never date a man ever again where I don't feel comfortable with taking a shower as often as I need because guaranteed. He didn't have an issue with us sleeping together ..I cut that "relationship off " real quick . This is why in recent months I'm .making the choice to only date men who live a similar lifestyle that way thier are no misunderstandings ..new Subbie 💕

Nicely spoken, never listen to the crowds it's all just static. Inside every person has different needs and desires. Takes time for each of us to hopefully find it sooner than later. Very happy for you and as in everything I have learned take life in moderation and chaiarsh those around you 😊.
